One Client's Experience

One of our clients came into the salon asking for a complete hair makeover - from overly curly to straight.  We used the Grund 'Straight Effects' method. This is the story of her experience in photos.  The end result?  Extremely happy client, with new, shiny, conditioned, beautifully straightened hair!

Application of Straight Effects on Completely cleansed, reconstructed hair blown completely straight. Taken section by section, half inch at a time, and smoothing product into hair.

Beginning the wrapping process to smooth hair as purely as possible.

Cellophane keeps the wrapped hair neatly in place.

After processing under dryer, the straight effects is rinsed out smoothly without interruption of hair straightening. After hair is towel dried, and added Reconstructor, blow drying straight is necessary. Hair blown as straight as possible with Reconstructor.

Using the Tourmaline Brush by Grund is imperative.

Time to use the Grund Straight Stick at precisely 375 degrees for optimum straightening in tiny sections. Straight Stick is also coated with Tourmaline for excellent sliding and adding shine to hair.

Now it is time to Neutralize and stabilize hair.

Beginning with back nape, we carefully comb the neutralizer through straight, dry hair.

Continue to neutralize throughout the head in small sections. Patiently keep the hair smooth, straight, and fully neutralized. Once completely applied, neutralizer remains on hair for a few minutes, then rinsed again. Blow dry straight using Reconstructor once again. The shine and condition is unbelievable!
